BS-CFR 42.5

Introduction
These are hydraulic binders (referred to as anti-cracking double-fast cement) with crack resistance, fast setting and rapid hardening properties, made from active (or inactive) mixed materials such as fast setting rapid hardening high belite sulpho aluminate cement clinker, moderate amount of gypsum (or industrial by-product gypsum), slag and other active (or inactive) hybrid materials with fine grinding, and the code is BS - CFR.
Properties

Advantages:

1/ Minimal volume change rate, anti-cracking performance is very excellent

 1.1/Length change is very small

  The main reason of concrete cracks is the shrinkage and the volume change rate of cement is big. Normally using the free expansion rate of the cement to show the length change of the cement, this directly related to the cracking resistance of concrete. This cement have micro expansion to compensate the dry shrinkage, the gap between expansion and shrinkage is small, especially the free dry shrinkage is just the 1/10~1/8 of the Portland cement. This is a revolutionary progress to improve the anti-cracking performance of the concrete.

2/ Fast setting, Rapid hardening, high strength; 4h compressive strength above 15Mpa, the 2h compressive strength of products made by this cement can reach 10Mpa.

3/Good workability, good secrete water resistance, concrete surface made by this cement has no surface dusting.

  The normal calcium sulpho aluminate cement requires high maintenance, very easy to has the surface dusting, causing the water absorption rate increase, reduce the impermeability and durability of the concrete, this new cement solved   this problem.

4/ Low hydration heat release

   This cement is made by the double fast high belite csa cement clinker, the main components is C2S-, C4A3S- content is lower than normal csa cement, don’t has C3A, this make the total hydration heat lower.

5/ High impermeability

     With micro expansion, compared with Portland cement, under the same pressure, the infiltration height only half of the Portland cement. The anti-penetrability performance is much more better than Portland cement.

6/Good anti-corrosion property

  180d anti-corrosion factor in 3% sodium sulfate solution is 1.46, in 3% sodium carbonate solution is 1.41 and in 3% sodium chloride solution is 1.51.
